AEM Group
AEM Group was founded in 1998 to provide commonsense hassle-free environmental compliance and management services to private and public organizations using global knowledge to create local solutions.
Our client list has grown from a handful of customers in 1998 to over 200 in the commercial sector and more than10 federal agencies as we have developed into a respected environmental consulting and management company that consistently wins and fulfills contracts with several federal agencies.
AEM Group attributes its success to clear vision, listening to and understanding our customer’s needs, hiring and retaining qualified professionals, and adhering to our commitment to deliver the best services on time and within budget.
Our professional staff is the backbone of our business strength.
We take a systems approach to project management. We look at the entire situation — people, processes, and environment when developing solutions for environmental compliance and management.
AEM Group provides a wide range of natural resources services for both commercial and federal clients.
History
In 1997 our company started as an internet-based consulting firm, environmental-help.com, to provide consulting services across the United States and abroad. Through this firm we gained experience in putting together teams of experts to provide regulatory and technical advice to local companies, and to design pollution control equipment to be built by local firms, which gave birth to our trademark, Global knowledge, local solutions ®.
In 2008, Advanced Environmental Management Group, LLC, formerly known as Environmental Permit Specialists, LLC (EPS), and generally known as AEM Group, was granted the Small Business Administration’s Small Disadvantaged Business 8(a) status.
In July 2011, AEM Group was awarded a GSA contract for SIN 899-1, environmental consulting. Learn more about our NAICS codes.
In 2014, AEM Group formed an SBA-approved 8(a) Mentor-Protégé Joint-Venture Agreement with O’Brien & Gere Engineering, Inc., and in 2018 we formed an additional SBA-approved 8(a) Mentor-Protégé Joint-Venture Agreement with Advanced Matrix Inc. These joint ventures have increased AEM Group’s capacity to obtain and complete large national contracts for compliance and natural resources services.
In March 2017, AEM Group graduated from its 8(a) Small Business status and we are continuing to thrive as our client base expands.
